Welcome to the Wincham village website! Sponsored by the Parish Council, it will feature links to Parish Council pages so you can check on local government issues that will affect our local community. There is an Events Page and all village groups are invited to post their events on this website.
You can also catch up on the latest Wincham Word newsletter. We have included some photos of the village environment to emphasise how attractive our surroundings are.
All attendees, whether Councillors or members of the public, must submit their name and address in writing to the clerk in advance of the meeting for the sake of track and trace and must be prepared to follow such COVID restrictions and requirements as shall be laid out by the clerk, in accordance with current COVID guidelines. Failure to do so may mean that such person or persons may be asked to leave the meeting for sake of the health and safety of all parties.
The clerk may be contacted on winchampc@talktalk.net
Wincham Parish Council is very concerned about the proposed route for the high speed train link from London to Manchester which would cut across farm land, close to the residential village of Wincham.
Please keep an eye on the HS2 page on this site. The Parish Council will endeavour to keep this site updated with all developments. The Parish Council has created a Working Party to co-ordinate its response to the HS2 route.
Any resident experiencing problems with their water pressure should ring United Utilities on 0345 6723723, quoting reference 8005506669, which is the reference for Wincham. The Parish Council is monitoring the situation and so please also tell us via the Clerk, Naomi Morris, on winchampc@talktalk.net
If you have noticed something on the roads or pavements that needs attention or have spotted fly tipping or other issues relating to waste, please use this link to report it to Cheshire West and Chester Council
If you also tell the Wincham Parish Clerk (at winchampc@talktalk.net), it means the Parish Council is aware of your concerns.
